Raindrop Technique

Raindrop Technique used on the spine

Raindrop Technique is a specific technique where pure essential oils are gently applied on the spine and then lightly massaged using various techniques.  The purpose of this application is to help with conditions such as Scoliosis, Kyphosis, Sciatica, Multiple Sclerosis and Spinal discomfort. It also stops the degeneration of discs between the vertebra and surrounding muscles and helps with various viral and bacterial infections of the spine.

The Raindrop Technique brings the body into structural and electrical alignment by using the power of essential oils and massage.  The technique is based on the theory that many types of Scoliosis and Spinal misalignments are caused by viruses and/or bacteria that lie dormant along the spine.  These pathogens create inflammation, which in turn contort and disfigure the spinal cord.

The technique was developed by the American Gary Young who studied the healing techniques of the Lakota Native Americans.  The Lakota people applied oils along the spine like raindrops, hence the name for the technique.  The essential oils that I use (Landrom, Pranarom, Florihana, Oshadi) have both medical and pharmacological certification and can be applied directly onto the skin.  The oil drops are dropped 20cm from the skin (spine) and massaged in along the spine and surrounding muscles.

In one treatment I use 120 drops of various essential oils (Lavender, Oregano, Basil, Rosemary, Cypress, Peppermint, Laurel, Marjoram, Bitter Orange) in carefully measured quantities and order in which these oils are applied (Antibacterial, Antiviral, Spasmolytic and Oils for circulation).

Treatment time: 70mins
